Easy like Saturday morning...

New this year to the 2016 Pink Laundry Run: Our event will be hosted on a Saturday! This is a break with tradition, as our 5K has always been on the first Sunday in October. And trust us, we know, change is hard.

Many have asked why we changed the standing day. Well, it had to do with the city, logistics, and scheduling with the police department. In a nutshell, the City of Lee's Summit is no longer issuing event permits for races on Sundays. So our choice was to move the day or move the location.

For some loyal runners who have participated every single year since 2008, we understand this is a difficult change. Thanks to everyone for your patience and understanding. We hope to see you smiling face on Saturday, October 1st - and if you can't make it due to work/family actives, remember you can still donate or sign-up to get a cool race shirt.
